Does Digits really work without internet?
Yes. Typing, voice, receipt scanning and category suggestions all run on-device using Apple Intelligence. The only network request Digits ever makes is to refresh exchange rates for multi-currency conversion.
Which iPhones are supported?
Digits requires iOS 26. On-device AI features use Apple Intelligence, which is available on iPhone 15 Pro and newer. Manual entry works on every supported device.
How does Apple Pay auto-import work?
Digits ships a Shortcuts automation. When a Wallet transaction completes, the Shortcut hands the amount and merchant to Digits, which logs, converts and categorises it — no bank login required.
Can I use multiple currencies?
Absolutely. Log expenses in any currency and Digits converts them to your default currency automatically, keeping the original amount on the transaction.
Is my data backed up?
Your data is included in your normal iPhone backup (iCloud or local). You can also export everything to CSV from Settings at any time.
